The major objective of DIGANTA
Aims & Objectives
• To spread primary, secondary & higher education by establishing and/or collaborating with schools, colleges, institutions, libraries, research in the education field.
• To work towards the healthy golden years of the senior citizens and to organize medical camps at various places to monitor the health of the senior citizens and children.
• To help the local artisans in running a small cottage farm and holding the countries art and culture to live for years.
• To stand with people loosing homes and possession in natural calamities like earthquake, flood, pandemic etc., providing them necessities of life in hard times.
• To organize outreach programs focused on providing dignity to the elderly, care and security to the elderly through volunteer effort and to provide club and recreational facilities to the senior citizens so that they are able to spend their time in a constructive manner.
• To provide counselling and to work towards reconciliation with family when needed and to enable senior citizens to access benefits / services provided by the government including old age pension, widow pension, travel discounts, legal aid and various upkeep benefits.
• To provide support to extraordinary talented people in every field and to get the land beneath their feet and a recognition in the society.
• To work sincerely for people and humanity without any discrimination including but not limited to color, caste, sex, creed, religion, nationality.
• To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on the social, cultural and educational conditions of society.
• To collaborate with other NGO's working towards similar goals.
OUR PROJECTS
- · Providing food and vegetables to the people of Hingalganj during Aamphan destruction in 2021.
- · Helping many old age homes with their basic day -to-day necessities, medicines and clothes.
- · Helping Bharat Seva Ashram and other orphanage children with primary education, food, clothes, books and copies.
- · Providing an awareness program in the pandemic with mask and sanitizer explaining the need to use them.
- · In Shimurali our team provided new clothes for the villagers to share the happiness of Durga Puja with all.
- · Side by side providing meals on various occasions and calamities wherever there a need enlisted.

Offer vocational training to members for various types of skills such as paper crafts incense making handicrafts and jewellery making etc.
Encourage slum children for education and simple earning
Facilitate selling of handicrafts made by the women through their trade
Provides workshop on various issues such as hygiene and women's rights
Provide basic necessities as possible by our team in disasters and needs.
Where are we?
Women working in a group in the rural areas
